Working principle: When the mineral sand containing gold particles and the water flow through the gold-drawing mat, due to the much higher density of the gold particles compared to water and sand, they have a stronger tendency to sink. Under the action of water flow, the lighter sand, soil and other impurities along with the water flow away, while the gold particles, due to inertia and density advantage, get trapped in the gaps and microscopic grooves between the fine hairs or fibers, and thus are adsorbed on the gold-drawing mat.
