Synthetic Ice Board

The simulated ice board, also known as artificial ice or synthetic ice, is a type of artificial ice surface material that replicates the skating experience of real ice.

(1)Physical properties: The hardness is lower than that of real ice, with greater toughness and less prone to cracking; the friction coefficient is higher than that of real ice, ranging from approximately 0.015 to 0.03, resulting in greater sliding resistance; the operating temperature range is wide, and it can be used normally within the range of -30℃ to 60℃.

(2)Skiing experience: With the same effort, the skiing speed is 10% to 20% slower than on real ice. When the skis enter the ice, there is a tendency for "slippery feeling", and the tolerance for technical movements is lower. It is more suitable for beginners' skiing rather than professional training.

(3)Installation and maintenance: It is installed in a modular manner, similar to a floor puzzle. The installation period is only 1 to 3 days. Daily maintenance involves simply wiping off surface dust with a damp cloth. Once a month, apply a dedicated lubricant. The maintenance is simple and inexpensive.
